Hi, I'm Julia. 👋

As a creative-driven person, I love producing compelling copy and engaging social media content, which enables people to support and connect authentically with their communities.

With an extensive background in creative writing, marketing, and media studies, and 5+ years in digital marketing, I strive to provide an imaginative approach to business while addressing the needs of each audience.

Thus, in 2023, JM Marketing was born to help businesses and individuals engage with their audiences and expand their digital reach. My continued passion for understanding the value of existing in online spaces is essential for others to build a successful social media presence while nourishing their communities.

☕ A little bit about me:

I immigrated to Scotland in 2017 from America and never left!

My favourite pastime is spending time with my husband, son, and wee dog. I also enjoy a weekly hot yoga class, travelling, reading, and writing poetry and fiction.

Qualifications

Julia has her bachelor of arts from Stetson University in Florida, where she studied Communication and Media Studies, Marketing, and Creative Writing; a Master of Literature in Creative Writing from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland; she is currently undertaking her PhD in Communication, Media, and Marketing at Robert Gordon University where she is researching The Self-Presentation of Poets: Modern Poets and Their Digital Personae.
